The first sitting of sub-committee appointed by UDF Government, to evaluate the issues, situation while overtaking the Pariyaram medical college (PMC) here by the government, has ended today as farce.
The delegates of Congress, IUML and Kerala Congress (M) did not attended the meeting.
However, Sub Committee convenor and CMP leader and former cooperative minister M V Raghavan, CMP secretary K R Aravindhakshan and Socialist Janatha (Democratic) delegate P Koran Master attended the meeting, which began from 1100 hrs.
Congress Nominee M M Hassan and IUML nominee K P A Majeed were in gulf countries and Kerala congress nominee Joy Abraham, MP, who was in Delhi for attending Parliamnet session.
After the meeting, sub committee member K R Aravindakshan said the next meeting would be held in the first week of December and then only the report would submit before the UDF after taking a joint decision.
A draft report was prepared in the meeting which would be sent to the members, who did not attend the meeting, he said.
