Goa gain three points from drawn match

Goa gained three points by virtue of their first ininnings lead over Kerala after their Ranji trophy Group 'C' league match ended in a draw here today.

Kerala gained one point from the match.

The match fizzled out to a draw after as following on Kerala scored 120/4 with the help of Robert Fernadez 52 not out and V A Jagadeesh 40.

For Goa, Sher Yadhav scalped two wickets, while captain Shadaf Jakathi and Saurav Bandekar took on wicket each.

To the overnight score of 209/6, Kerala added 48 runs today in the first innings. Goa enforced the follow on.

Kerala lost 4 wickets.

Brief scores: Goa 512/8 declared in 152.5 overs (Rohit Snodkar 100 not out, U Shukla 87, Kamat 107,M Bisla 74 C P Shahid 4/149, Sandeep Warrier 2/86, P U Anthaf 1/87 and Rohan Prem 1/57. Kerala 297 all out in 137 overs and 102/4 in 61 overs.
