CCTV footage shows Norwegian mass murderer parking van that killed 8 in Oslo
A CCTV footage has been released that shows Norwegian mass murderer Anders Breivik walking away from his van in Oslo before a bomb inside it exploded killing eight people and injuring dozens.
The never before seen footage captured the devastation the device caused in July 2011.
The footage showed that Breivik, wearing a security guard's uniform, parked his white van at the entrance of a Government building that housed the Prime Minister's offices, the Daily Mail reports.
After the bomb exploded, Breivik got into a second van, which he used to drive to the nearby island of Utoya where he gunned down 69 people, mostly teenagers.
Although photographs of Breivik parking the van had previously been released and footage was shown during his trial earlier this year, this is the first time the video has been released publicly.
According to the paper, the security camera video, reported by Sky News, contains pictures of the significant damage caused by the device, which weighed nearly a ton.
The footage is part of a documentary that Norway's public broadcaster NRK will air on Tuesday and will include comments by the security guard on duty that day.
