Sensex rises by 30.44 points

The benchmark Index of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today ended the session on a positive note. up by 30.44 points, at 18,537.01, spurred by gains in IT, Metal, FMCG and teck shares.
The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) advanced by 9.30 points to 5635.90.
The Sensex registered the day's high and low at 18,590.33 and 18,508.79 points, respectively.
The Nifty registered the day's high and low at 5,649.20 and 5,623.45 points, respectively.
