Realistic cinema is losing sheen-Amir Khan
Realistic cinema is sharply losing its sheen as the people did not want to see what actually had been happening in the real life.
These comments came from bollywood star Amir Khan at a press conference when he was asked to say something about the show aimed at to highlight the agony of people especially the problems faced by the women folk with a special mention to dowry and domestic violence. He said that it was very difficult to meet authorities to get the problems of the victims redressed. Further more the problems some times become more complex to be sorted out without the help of the government of the concerned state.
He was here last evening for the promotion of his new film 'Talaash' with Ritesh Sidhwani, producer and Reema Kagti, director.
He said that he was very happy to be in Jalandhar for the second time yesterday as the city is liked by him very much. He had visited the city earlier also during the promotion of his film 'Rang De Basanti'.
He said that the gesture he was accorded at that time was not only marvelous but worth appreciable. He loves Jalandhar and that is why he was here for the second time for the promotion of his new film Talaash which is going to be put on the silver screen on November 30.
