Kin of girl killed in Delhi over stopping a man from urinating demand his arrest
The family of a teenage girl, Yusara Khan, who was killed by a man when she asked him not to urinate outside the gate of their house, has demanded the arrest of the accused at the earliest.
In this shocking incident, that took place in Delhi's Hazrat Nizamuddin area on Wednesday, Yusara was shot dead by Javed and his accomplice in her house in a fit of anger.
Her mother, Sadmani, who intervened after Javed shot at her daughter, was critically injured and the two were rushed to the trauma centre of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences by the neighbours.
Yusara's father said that the accused left in a fit of rage after his daughter objected to him relieving himself outside their house and threatened her with dire consequences.
"My wife and daughter were at home and around 10. He (Javed, the accused) came in an inebriated state in front of my house and started urinating. Mu wife and daughter objected and said that why are you doing like this as other women also reside here. He got angry and threatened them with dire consequences. He returned after 15- 20 minutes. Meanwhile, my children were having their dinner on the bed. They did not expect him to return and he came with his accomplice and fired four rounds. My daughter died on the spot and my wife is in the hospital in a critical condition," said Aslam Khan.
Aslam Khan was not present at the time of the unfortunate incident.
Yusara, was fondly addressed as "gudiya" be her near and dear ones.
Taking advantage of the narrow lanes, Javed fled from the scene of the crime and according to Aslam Khan, he had fired in the air while fleeing.
The aunt of the dead girl, Farzana expressed her sorrow over the killing of Yusara and sought Javed's arrest at the earliest.
"He came and started urinating in front of the house. My niece and sister who were having her dinner objected and said that ladies reside over here. He threatened my sister her and said that I will kill you. She sat down to have her dinner again. He shot three bullets at my niece and one at my sister," said Farzana .
Farzana described her niece as an extremely adorable child and also said that Javed was in inebriated state.
The accused was recently released from the Tihar Jail in New Delhi and was residing in the same building with his mother.
The house of the accused was in shambles.
The father also told the reporter that the police have launched a massive hunt to arrest the accused and his accomplice and the mother has been detained for interrogation.
