Celebs thank family, friends and fans on Thanksgiving
In between bites of turkey and forkfuls of mashed potatoes, a number of celebrities including Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe took a moment to wish their fans a happy Thanksgiving.
Kim shared a photo on her website of her with brother Rob, brother-in-law Lamar Odom and sister Khloe at the Thanksgiving table.
"Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!" ABC News quoted her as writing with the photo.
"I am so thankful to be enjoying time with my family this Thanksgiving. I have so many things to be thankful for! I feel very blessed to have such a loving family, amazing friends and so many supportive fans who make me smile every day. I am thankful for all of you this Thanksgiving," she wrote.
Khloe wrote "On this Thanksgiving, I feel I have more to be thankful for than ever and #65533; a loving husband, a supportive (although slightly crazy LOL) family, work that I love, new experiences and incredible fans," on her website.
"I am so grateful for all of these blessings, and today, I want to give thanks for every single one of them," she wrote.
Singer and New York resident Alicia Keys expressed her thanks for the city's response to Sandy.
"This year, I'm thankful for the city of New York and the extraordinary ways in which we have all come together following the aftermath of hurricane Sandy," Keys wrote on her website.
"This city has never failed me and to be a part of it when it is in need is truly a beautiful thing. I'm thankful to live in a place where busy streets are full of life, energy and inspiration in every block I walk," she wrote.
Many celebrities took to Twitter to share what they're thankful for this year.
"Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I'm thankful for my beautiful and healthy baby boy and my amazing fiance. And of course my AMAZING fans/supporters!" Snooki tweeted.
"Happy Thanksgiving Twitter! I'm thankful for all of you, the messages of positivity u send me everyday lift me and make me stronger," Lady Gaga tweeted.
"Thanks for music, mountains, outlooks, oceans, evening jasmine, lavender fields, desert nights, words, wit and winds of change, love everlasting and skin," Russel Crowe tweeted.
"Happy Thanksgiving. I'm thankful this year for Family, Friends, Music, Fans, Whipeout, Coffee Sleeves, 007, Harry Style's Hair, And Mustaches," Joe Jonas tweeted.
"If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be able to help people in need. You're all apart of it, and I'm so grateful. Happy Thanksgiving," Ellen DeGeneres tweeted.
"I just had an idea. We should be thankful and nice and non denominational and enjoy friends and family and have a drink and celebrate life everyday," Ricky Gervais tweeted.
'The Help' actress Octavia Spencer shared some Thanksgiving tips with her followers.
"Thxgiving WARNINGS: DON'T fry a turkey indoors. DON'T hide your veggies in the napkin, can't spell it, DON'T eat it! DO have a blessed day!" she tweeted.
