2 Cannons, Cannon ball of Tippu period found

Work on Metro rail came to standstill with workers finding one more cannon belonging to the Tippu Sultan period whlie digging the earth at Kalasapalyam area here today.
This was the second cannon of that period to be found.
Yesterday, the metro rail workers chanced upon a cannon and a cannon ball belonging to the period of Mysore ruler, while working in the busy K R Market area.
They immediately informed the Archaeological Survey Of India (ASI) here. ASI officials then took possession of the cannon and the cannon ball weighing 10 kg.
