HC rejects Madani's bail plea
Bangalore, Nov 22 (UNI)
The Karnataka High Court today rejected bail plea of PDP Leader Abdul Naseer Madani arrested in connection with 2008 serial blasts in which one woman was killed and 20 injured here.
However, the Court permitted Madani, who is ailing from multiple diseases, to avail medical treatment at a hospital of his choice with police escort.
Madani was arrested in Kerala on August 17, 2010 and remanded to Judicial Custody at Central Jail here at Parappana Agrahara.
Madani was the main accused in a charge sheet filed in which 31 people were named.
