Brazilian couple kiss while hurtling along road on motorbike at 50mph
A pair of lovebirds were filmed locked in a passionate kiss while riding a motorcycle along a Brazilian motorway.
Motorists driving along the road near Foz de Iguacu, in Brazil's southern state of Parana, were shocked to see the woman facing the male driver on his lap as they smooched, the Daily Mail reported.
The couple, who haven't been identified, kissed for more than a minute while travelling at around 50 mph, with neither being able to see where they were going, according to witnesses.
Fernando Nascimento, who filmed the scene which was later shown on Brazil's RPC TV station, said: "I've never seen anything like it. I was shocked, first because it is so unusual and secondly because it was so dangerous.
"I was in the passenger seat and decided to film because I thought that the motorcyclist was driving without wearing a helmet. But then I saw there were two and they were kissing.
"I was amazed. The driver opened one eye every now and again but they never unlocked mouths. I managed to film for about a minute, but I know that they kissed for longer than that, because it took a while to get out the camera," he said.
The couple eventually turned off the highway, but continued kissing, he said.
"They were crazy. Only by luck did nothing serious happen," he added.
Parana state's highway police chief Sheldon Vortolin, who analysed the images, said that if the driver is caught, he will have his license suspended and issued with a 200-pound fine.
