The fifth edition of 'Bangalore Nano,' organised by Karnataka Vision Group on Nanotechnology headed by Prof C N R Rao, Chairman, Scientific Advisory Committee to the Prime Minister, will be held here on December 6 and 7.
Addressing a curtain raiser press conference here, Prof Rao said the event will feature an Exhibition and Conference Sessions addressed by internationally acclaimed Speakers and Experts discussing a range of issues pertaining to Research, Technology Development, skills Requirement, Institutions involved, Risks issues, Regulatory and Governance Structure, investment and collaborations between Academia, R and D and Industry.
He said ten countries including Czech Republic, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, UK, Ukraine and USA will be sending their representatives. 35 Indian and International Exhibitors will be participating in the Trade show.
He said 'Bangalore Nano National Award' will be presented to Prof G U Kulkarni, Chemistry and Physics of Materials Unit and DST Unit on Nanoscience, JNCASR at the inauguration on December 6 for his contribution in the field of Nanotechnology.
