The most awarded real estate developer Akshaya Private Limited, today announced the launch of its 151st project aptly christened 'TODAY', keeping the current housing needs of the common man in mind.
The Rs 730 crore project would be a common 'people's Mini-City' comprising 2134 single, double and three bed room apartments, ranging from Rs 17.44 lakhs to Rs 40 lakhs, that would come up at Thaiyur village on the OMR.
Talking to reporters at the launch function, Akshaya Private Limited Chairman and CEO T Chitty Babu said for the first time the company has developed what it described as 'Right Sized Homes' designed to match the living space as well as budgets without compromising on the modern amenities.
He said the unique feature of this project, coming up in a 20.7 acre area, was that all the 2134 units would have piped gas connection, garbage chute, air-conditioning provision in all the rooms and a balcony.
The houses start from 612 sqft (both single and double) at an attractive price of Rs 17.44 lakhs.
The other models included 982-1061 sqft and 982 to 1061 sqft houses and the company offers an inaugural rate of Rs 2,850 sqft. The offer would be for three days till Sunday.
However, Mr Chitty Babu refused to answer a query on what would be the per sqft rate from Monday saying "if all the 2134 units get booked in three days, there would be no need for fixing a new price...the demand is such that".
