Thackeray's ashes brought to Punjab
The urn containing the ashes of Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray reached here last night from Mumbai and were taken to Ludhaina, a Sena leader said.
Many Shiv Sena and Hindu Surakhsa Samiti leaders brought the urn today as it was decked up in a truck and the procession taken out in the markets of Patiala.
The leaders of Shiv Sena Harish Singla, Pawan Gupta and leaders of Hindu Surakhsaha Samiti Mahant Sanjeev hari Dass and Ashotosh Gautam took the urn to the place.
The urn was kept here at Sat Naryan Mandir and taken to Ludhaina from where it would be taken to Haridwar, said Ashutosh Gautam.
