Susan Boyle's 'anal bum party' sparks online frenzy
Susan Boyle's promoters have caused an outrage on Twitter by creating the hashtag #susanalbumparty on her official page.
Hordes of social networkers have noted that the letter sequence can be read as "Su's anal bum party" instead of its intended meaning: "Susan album party," the Sun reported.
The Scottish singer's PR team put out the tweet to plug her new collection 'Standing Ovation: The Greatest Songs From The Stage.'
The hashtag is trending on Twitter, prompting hilarity among those who have cottoned on to its lewd alternative interpretation.
One Lisa Snowdon wrote: "I don't think Susan Boyle's record company thought this hash tag thru properly..."
Another follower Nicole Richie tweeted: "LMFAO OH MY GOD."
Comedy actor David Schneider tweeted: "Susan Boyle might want a word with her social media team - #susanalbumparty doesn't read well as a hashtag."
Meanwhile one witty tweeter asked: "What are the rules on wearing protection?"
Another wrote: "Just been invited to #susanalbumparty. Do you bring your own lube or is it provided?"
