Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and State BJP President K S Eshwarappa today asserted the party was prepared for any sacrifice, even if it resulted in losing power in the state and will firmly deal with party legislators hobnobbing with Karnataka Janata Party with which Former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa was associating himself.
He told newspersons here that disciplinary action will be taken against those attending KJP rally to be held at Haveri on December nine.
He, however, hoped Mr Yeddyurappa will not quit BJP as he had been associated with the party since its inception in the state.
He stressed that 70 to 80 legislators will not join Karnataka Janatha Party as claimed by Mr Yeddyurappa.
'Regional parties have failed in the state and hence Mr Yeddyurappa should not suffer by floating his own regional political outfit in Karnataka,' he said.
The State Party President felt that indicipline had cost the party dear since it came to power in the state and induction of other party leaders into BJP caused confusion.
