The international crude oil price for Indian Basket as computed/published on Wednesday by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas increased to 109.64 USUSD /barrel (bbl) on Nov 20 as compared to USUSD 109.27 /bbl on the previous trading day's figures of Nov 19.
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price went up marginally to Rs 6020.33 per bbl on Nov 20 as compared to Rs 6006.57 per bbl on Nov 19.
This was due to rise in price in dollar terms though rupee appreciation moderated the increase in price in rupee terms.
Rupee dollar-exchange rate on Nov 20 was Rs 54.91/USUSD against Rs 54.97 USUSD on last trading day of Nov 19.
