ACB sources said they have booked 48 cases in this regard and arrested 140 persons, including excise, revenue and police officials.
ACB has informed the court that they have asked permission for prosecution against some officials and have recommended departmental inquiry, disciplinary action, for the same.
All the arrested persons are out on bail. 'In addition to those who are arrested, we have found evidence against some more accused and permission has been sought for prosecution against them,' an ACB officer said.
