Depression weakens into well marked Low Pressure
The deep depression over the bay has weakened into a well marked low pressure area today and it was expected to weaken further during the next 48 hours.
A bulletin issued by the met office here said the well marked low pressure area over west-central Bay of Bengal persists over the same region today.
The system would move west-southwestwards towards south Andhra Pradesh and north Tamil Nadu coasts and weaken further during the next 48 hours.
Under the influence of this system, moderate rainfall would occur at many places with isolated heavy falls over south coastal Andhra Pradesh, north coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry tomorrow and over south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Puducherry and north Tamil Nadu on November 22.
