PC holds meeting with Southern CMs on state finances

Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram today held a meeting with Chief Ministers of Southern States to have a glimpse of the state finances.
Union Minister of State for Finance Namonarayana Meena also participated in the meeting.
Among those who participated in the meeting were Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, Pondicherry Chief Minister N Rangaswamy, Karnataka Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar, while Tamil Nadu was represented by Finance Minister O Pannerselvam and Kerala by Finance Minister K M Mani.
Officials from finance departments of the Southern states, besides senior executives of Public Sector Banks and other central organisations and Union Finance Ministry officials were present.
