Tributes paid to VOC on Puducherry

Rich tributes were paid to freedom fighter V O Chidambaram Pillai, affectionately called V O C, on his 76th death anniversary here today.
Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy, his cabinet colleagues, Speaker V Sabapathy, legislators and senior officials of the administration were among others who garlanded the VOC statue on behalf of the administration.
Volunteers of the Puthiya Neethi Katchi and members of the V O C Peravai also garlanded the statue to mark the occasion.
