Cold wave conditions prevailed in some parts of Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and north interior Karnataka.
Night temperatures were markedly below normal in some parts of Odisha, Marathwada and Rayalaseema. They were appreciably below normal in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Madhya Pradesh, Konkan, Goa, coastal Andhra Pradesh,Telangana, Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka.
They were below normal in Jharkhand, Bihar, some parts of Gangetic West Bengal, east Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, west Rajasthan, Gujarat Region and coastal Karnataka, and in remaining parts of Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Tamil Nadu.
They were above normal in remaining parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and west Rajasthan. They were normal over the rest of the country.
Rain or thundershowers may occur at many places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep.
Mainly dry weather will prevail over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
Rain or thundershowers had occurred at most places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and at isolated places in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
