Three injured in Manipur explosion
At least three people were wounded in a powerful explosion in Manipur on Saturday, police said.
A grenade was hurled at a shop at Hafta Bazar area in Imphal's east district by two suspected militants, injuring three people including a woman.
"The militant duo managed to flee from the spot after hurling the grenade," a police official said.
The injured persons were admitted in the nearest hospital.
Top police and army officials rushed to the spot and launched a search operation to nab the militants.
No rebel group has taken responsibility for the explosion yet.
