Isolated rainfall occurred over South Tamil Nadu. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Kerala and dry weather prevailed over Andhra Pradesh, North Tamil Nadu, Lakshadweep and Karnataka.
Thuckalay (Kanyakumari dt) recorded 1 centimetre of rainfall.
The minimum temperature rose appreciably at one or two places over Tamil Nadu, rose at one or two places over rest North Tamil Nadu, fell appreciably at a few places over Telangana, fell at one or two places over Coastal and South interior Karnataka and changed a little elsewhere over the region.
They were largely below normal at one or two places over Rayalaseema, Interior Karnataka, appreciably to markedly below normal at many places over rest Rayalaseema, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, rest Interior Karnataka, North Tamil Nadu, at one or two places over Coastal Karnataka, below normal at a few places over rest Coastal Andhra Pradesh, rest North Tamil Nadu, rest Coastal Karnataka, at one or two places over Kerala and were generally normal over the rest of the region.
Adilabad recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 09 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 18th November 2012: Isolated rain or thundershower may occur over South Tamil Nadu. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Karnataka, North Tamil Nadu, Puducherry , Kerala and Lakshadweep and Andhra Pradesh.
Frost warning: Ground frost may occur at a few places over hilly ranges of Nilgiris district during next two nights.
