Commencement of trial in the sensational murder of Revolutionary Marxist Party (RMP) Leader T P Chandrasekharan will be decided on November 29, the Additonal Sessions here today said.
Additonal Sessions Judge R Narayana Pisharoty, who held the maiden sitting in the wake of the Kerala High court direction to complete the trial before July 31, 2013, fixed the new date in the absence of all the 76 accused in the May 4 murder case.
The court while directing the authorities to produce all the accused on November 29, extended the judicial remand of 11 people, who were present in the court today, till that date.
Rebel CPI (M) leader Chandrasekharan was assassinated at Vallikkode near Vatakara in the district while he was returning home on his motor-bike.
