Kerala to cancel registration of trade unions in BrahMos
The Kerala will cancel the registration of trade unions functioning at BrahMos unit here. Talking to newspersons on the sideline of the Cabinet briefing here, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said trade unions would not be allowed to function at defence-related establishments.
Trade union issues at BrahMos unit here has caused mental agony to the Union Defence Minister, resulting in his making open statement against the trade union problems and functioning of industries in the state.
"When Antony brough the issue into my concern, I directed State Labour Minister Shibu Baby John to interfere in this matter and take steps against the trade unions there," he added.
However, the media misquoted the good intention of Antony due to mere political reasons, he added.
