Nippy day in Delhi, misty Saturday likely
It was a nippy, clear day in the capital Friday with the maximum temperature settling a notch below average at 26.8 degrees Celsius. The Met Office has forecast a misty Saturday.
"A shallow fog cover is expected in the morning and smog may envelop the city in the afternoon," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures Saturday are likely to hover around 26 and 12 degrees Celsius respectively.
Friday's minimum temperature was 12 degrees Celsius, a notch below average for this time of the year, while the humidity levels wavered between a high of 91 and a low of 48 percent.
The maximum temperature Thursday was 26.8 degrees Celsius, two notches below average, while the minimum was a notch below average at 12.8 degrees Celsius.
