ACB court adjourns hearing on cash-for-bail case to Nov 29

Andhra Pradesh ACB Special Court today adjourned the next hearing of the cash-for-bail case involving former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy, to November 29.

Six accused including suspended CBI judge T Pattabhi Ramarao and his son Ravi chandra, retired judge TV Chalapati Rao, Bellary MLA Somasekhara Reddy, Yadigiri Rao and Gali's relative Dasarath Rami Reddy were appeared before the Court in the case.

All the accused, including mining baron Gali, have been granted bail in the bail scam case earlier, but Gali was still in the Chenchalguda Central Jail in the Obulapuram Mining Company(OBC) case.

They are facing charges of arranging bail for mining baron Janardhan Reddy by paying bribe in the Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC) illegal iron-ore mining case being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
