Power crisis will dent Jaya Govt's 'power': Stalin
The people of Tamil Nadu will 'teach a lession' to the ruling AIADMK in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections, DMK treasurer and former Deputy Chief Minister M K Stalin charged today.
He told mediapersons here during the previous DMK regime, there was only 3 to 4 hours of power cut. Even that was made after a prior announcement.
'But at present there is 18 hours of power cut across the state and for this, the people will teach a lesson to the AIADMK government during the Lok Sabha elections, he said.
Referring to the deteriorating Law and order situation in the state and the recent communal clashes in the Southern parts of Tamil Nadu and Dharmapuri districts, Mr Stalin said whenever Ms jayalalithaa comes in to rule Tamil Nadu, the Law and order situation worsens.
He said this is so even in the case of communal clashes.
The state Government's lethargic attitude was the main reason for this, 'the people will put a big full stop to the ruling AIADMK in the ensuing Lok Sabha polls, he charged by way of a warning.
