Andhra Pradesh Minister for labour Danam Nagender today expressed confidence that the MIM party would revoke its withdrawal of alliance with the Congress led government in the state.
Addressing a press conference here, Mr Nagender said the talks were still on with the MIM leadership and efforts were being made to convince MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi to restore his ties with the Congress party.
Defending the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, he said the temple abutting Charminar existed for a long time and Kiran Kumar Reddy only ensured that the High Court orders were properly implemented.
It was wrong to brand the Chief Minister as communal and the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) was responsible for the recent communal disturbances in the city, he said.
