Cold wave conditions prevail in north interior Karnataka

Cold wave conditions prevailed in some parts of north interior Karnataka.

Night temperatures were markedly below normal in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya and coastal Andhra Pradesh. They were appreciably below normal in Odisha, some parts of Vidarbha, Telangana, Rayalaseema, coastal Andhra Padesh, Saurashtra, Kutch, Konkan, Goa,Madhya Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka, and in remaining parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Vidarbha and Telangana.

They were appreciably above normal in some pqarts of west Madhya Pradsh. They were above normal in some parts of Nagaland, Manipur,Mizoram, Tripura and Gujarat region, and in remaining parts of west Madhya Pradesh. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers may occur at many places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Jammu and Kashmir, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradsh and Karnataka.

Rain or thundershowers had occurred at most places in Andaman and Nicobar islands and at a few places in Lakshadweep. They had also occurred at isolated places in Kerala.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
