Myanmar's opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi, who is currently in India, will visit Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh on November 16 and 17, according to official sources here.
On November 16, Ms Suu Kyi would arrive in the city by a special aircraft, land at HAL airport and have an overnight stay at a star hotel.
On November 17, she would emplane for Pasapasamipalli in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh to witness rural development projects that include community water supply.
Union Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh would accompany her.
In the afternoon, she would return to the city and interact with research scholars at the century-old Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and later visit the headquarters of IT major Infosys Ltd.
Infosys Chairman emeritus N R Narayana Murthy would host tea to Ms Suu Kyi at the sprawling Electronics City campus where she would also release a book, the sources added.
