Low pressure area formed over SE, adjoining SW Bay of Bengal

A low pressure area was formed over South East and adjoining South West Bay of Bengal today, the Met Office here said.

It may develop into a well marked low pressure area during the next 48 hours, the Met Office said in its modified weather report.

Cold day conditions prevailed in some parts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Mainly dry weather would prevail over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Rayalaseema during the next 48 hours, the report said.

The sky over Hyderabad and neighbourhood would be mainly clear over the next two days.

Maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 30 and 14 degrees Celsius respectively.

Observations recorded till 0830 hours today indicated weather has been dry over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Rayalaseema.

On Tuesday, the minimum temperatures appreciably fell at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema and changed little over Telangana.

They were markedly below normal at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema and at one or two places over Telangana.

The lowest Minimum Temperature of 11 degrees was recorded at Medak, the Met Office added.
