Clear day in Delhi
It was a sunny but misty morning in the capital Wednesday, a day after Diwali, with the weather office forecasting a clear day. The minimum temperature was 13 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season.
"Visibility was normal at 1,000 metres and there was a slight smog cover which enveloped the city Tuesday and early Wednesday morning after fire crackers went off for Diwali, but the air cleared later," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around the 28 degrees Celsius mark.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 77 percent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature was three notches below average for this time of year at 26.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was average at 13.4 degrees Celsius.
