Silver, Gold fall at Muhurat trading
The precious metals were down at a special Muhurat trading at the domestic bullion market today to mark the beginning of the new Samvat Year 2069.
Snapping the three day rally, Silver was down by Rs 280 per kg to Rs 62,085 and Gold drifted lower by Rs 125 for standard gold and Rs 110 for pure gold.
Standard and pure gold were at Rs 31,775 and Rs 31,925 per ten gm respectively.
Exactly a year back, Silver was at Rs 56,200 and Gold was quoted at Rs 27,600. With this, Silver has zoomed up by Rs 5,885 per kg and Gold shot up by Rs 4175.
The bullion market will remain closed on Wednesday and Thursday on account of 'Diwali' festival.
