Jonathan Trott fears poor performance in India could reopen cracks caused by KP row
England batsman Jonathan Trott has said the cracks caused in the dressing room due to the Kevin Pietersen row could widen if the team fails to perform during their series with India.
Trott said the new relationship between the players and Pietersen will not really be challenged until the Test series, which begins on Thursday in Ahmedabad, gets under way.
"When the pressure's on and the chips are down, that's when the cracks are tested," the Telegraph quoted Trott, as saying.
"If they widen then it becomes more obvious with regards to performance and team dynamics. When the pressure's on that's when it happens and we've got to make sure we have all our ducks in a row and we're ready for that. But I think we're on the right track," he added.
