Former minister and Congress MLA Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy today blamed Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy for Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen withdrawing support to the Congress.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Peddireddy alleged that the Congress has lost the support of MIM due to the strange behaviour of Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy.
He alleged that several Congress MLAs were unhappy with the functioning of the Chief Minister.
Mr Reddy reiterated that he would resign from the Assembly if the Congress High Command fails to replace Mr Kiran by the end of this month.
He said the Central leadership should consider his removal in view of MIM's decision to pull out of Congress-led UPA at the Centre.
He said the party would suffer immense damage if it does not replace the Chief Minister immediately.
