Governor Sankaranarayanan greets people on 'Diwali'

Governor K Sankaranarayanan today greeted people of Maharashtra and Maharashtrians living elsewhere on the joyous occasion of Diwali festival.
In his message here, the Governor said 'The much awaited festival of Diwali has arrived. The festival of lights brings with it joy, happiness and new hope for every one.
"I call upon the people of Maharashtra to extend a helping hand to the poor and the underprivileged this Diwali and to bring joy of the festival in their lives too. I wish the people a very happy Diwali," he added.
