Klitshcko retains world heavyweight titles against Mariusz Wach
Wladmir Klitshcko has said he was shaken but not stirred against unbeaten Mariusz Wach, as he retained his world heavyweight titles in Hamburg.
The WBA, IBF and WBO champ was stunned by a massive right from Wach in the fifth round, but he regained his composure to see off his rival from Poland.
At the final bell, the previously unbeaten Wach had been outclassed with scores of 120-107, 120-107 and 119-109 reflected the Ukrainian's domination in his 13th world title defence.
"Wach caught me in the fifth but then I slipped," the Sun quoted Klitshcko, as saying.
"The fight was unbelievably brutal. Wach just didn't want to fall, he somehow managed to stay standing," he added.
