Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray on Monday dismissed reports that he was on ventilator support and said he has not collapsed completely.
"My health is not that good. However, I have not collapsed completely," Thackeray said in an editorial in Sena mouthpiece 'Saamna'.
"I am not on a ventilator," he said.
Thackeray made the comments at a time when a section of the media reported that his health condition had deteriorated and that he was put on a ventilator.
The Shiv Sena supremo, who has been suffering from breathing problem for quite some time, said: "So far, there has been no need of artificial respiration."
He said the 'good wishes of Shiv Sainiks' were like 'oxygen' to him.
He said his son and executive president of Shiv Sena Uddhav Thackeray was looking after him while his nephew and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray 'keeps coming regularly'.
