'Jhansi Ki Rani' at haunted Bhangarh Fort
The couple who played Rani Laxmibai and Gangadhar Rao on Zee TV's serial 'Jhansi Ki Rani' will be back once again not to woo viewers but to throw them off guard.
In the episode to be telecast on Saturday, the viewers will see Ulka Gupta and Sameer Dharmadhikari caught up in an almost life threatening situation.
This episode is a reconstruction of the incidents that had transpired earlier during the shoot of Jhansi Ki Rani at the haunted Bhangarh Fort in Rajasthan.
Sameer Dharmadhikari said, "When the Fear Files team approached me for this Bhangarh special episode, I was not convinced. The incident was not a pleasant one and I wasn't sure if I should go again.
"But then I looked at little Ulka and found her enthusiasm infectious. She was ready to visit the place again to get over her fear. Hats off to her enthusiasm! I agreed to go there just for the thrill of it!"
The episode revolves around incidents that had occurred while the unit had gone to shoot in Bhangarh which is certified as one of the most haunted locations in the world.
The unit of Jhansi Ki Rani wanted to showcase the beautiful ruins of the fort.
But, the moment they would start to roll, some or the other untoward event would happen and mess up the smooth functioning of the shoot.
One time, the director had announced 'pack up' and the horses hired for the shoot started running helter-skelter.
Things worsened when another day, Ulka Gupta, the lead of the show went missing from the sets and was later found at a tantrik's den who as the folklore says had cursed the beautiful fort centuries ago.
At sunrise the next day, the unit hunted her down at the same place where she lay in an unconscious state and was taken to the hospital.
Ulka Gupta said, "I wanted to get over my fear as my last visit to Bhangarh was a bit traumatizing. Thankfully nothing happened this time. But the eerie, cold and creepy feeling was too powerful to ignore.
"You get goose bumps the moment you step inside the fort! There is some unnatural element in the Bhangarh Fort for sure. Thanks to the Fear Files team who took extra care of me...I had a pleasant and safe stay this time! I hope the audiences enjoy the episode. "
