A group of rebel Kerala Congress (B) leaders today dared party Chief R Balakrisha Pillai to expel his son and Forest Minister K B Ganesh Kumar for floating a parallel outfit in the state.
Talking to reporters here, the Kerala Congress (B) Parallel State Committee Chairman Benchamin Eeso and others urged Mr Pillai to muster courage to take disciplinary action against the rebels by expelling his son from the party as a first step.
Flaying the party chief for taking the move to expel Eeso, they said the new outfit had not indulged in any anti-party activities but came out against those involved in such activities.
The rebel leaders also threatened legal action against Mr Pillai if he went ahead with the action.
Vice-Chairman Mohammed Kunhi, Treasurer Veerendra Kumar and KTUC Secretary Simon Paulose were also present.
