The Jharkhand Cabinet has given its approval to hold a week-long Winter Session of the state Assembly, which will begin from November 30.
Official sources here said a decision in this regard was taken at a Cabinet meeting held last evening.
'The Assembly will conclude on December 6,' the sources said.
Besides, the Cabinet has approved a fund of Rs 4.97 crore for celebration of the state's foundation day on November 15.
The Cabinet also gave its nod over a proposal of increasing the remuneration of state women commission members.
According to the new decision, remuneration of the chairperson of the commission has been enhanced to Rs 70,300 from Rs 24,500 while the members would get Rs 63,850 instead of Rs 22,400.
Apart from other decisions, the Cabinet also gave its approval to a proposal of enhancement of assured career promotion (ACP) of forest guards.
Foresters who get two ACPs during the tenure of their service will now get the first ACP of Rs 10,000 from Rs 6,500 and the second ACP of Rs 13,500 from Rs 8,000.
