Haryana 'A' heading for innings defeat
An innings defeat was staring at the face of Haryana 'A' as they need to score at least 245 runs more to make the host team bat again in the Col C K Nayudu Trophy Cricket Tournament.
In a morning when K Sumanth completed a masterly double century, Haryana 'A' began their second innings on a disastrous note losing five wickets after putting up only 87 runs on the board at stumps on the third day at the Gymkhana Ground today.
Earlier, the Hyderabad innings was declared at a mammoth 540 for five immediately after Sumanth fell for 202. His innings comprised of 24 boundaries and two sixes.
Akash Bhandari and A M Rajendra bowled in tandem to account for two dismissals each and put Haryana 'A' on the mat. Benjamin remained unbeaten on 50 while Praneet Kumar made 85.
