Former minister and Congress MLA from Chittoor district, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, is likely to resign from the party if Congress High Command does not remove Andhra Pradhes Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy.
Mr Peddireddy, who has been an opponent of the chief minister, wrote a letter to the Congress High Command and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi today demanding immediate sacking of Kiran from the Chief Minister post, according to party sources.
The former Minister, who is having a close relation with the YSR Congress party since beginning, has given an ultimatum to the party high command to change the Chief Minister by November 30 and threatened to quit from the party and also from the primary membership if his demand is not considered by the party.
It may be mentioned that Peddireddy's son Mithun Reddy is already an active member of YSR Congress party in Chittoor district.
Peddireddy too is likely to join in YSR Congress party.
