Unbeaten knocks by Kaustubh Pawar (26) and Aditya Tare(43) and their unbeaten 76 runs partnership for the opening wicket helped the visiting team of Mumbai to give a good start against the defending champion Rajasthan on the second day of their four-day Ranji Trophy group A match at the KL Saini stadium here today.
After bowled out to the host Rajasthan for 478 runs before some time of the tea break, Mumbai openers took the guard and gave a good start to their team.
Both of the openers played steadily. Pawar faced 95 balls and hits four fours in his 26 runs innings while Tare facing 74 balls and slamming eight boundaries.
