Kerala Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has welcomed the decision of the UAE Government authorities to issue Multiple Entry Visas to the foreign businessmen, property investors, and cruise tourists.
KCCI Chairman K N Marzook in a statement here today said that ' the decision of the UAE Government authorities to issue Multiple Entry Visas to the foreign businessmen, property investors, and cruise tourists the KCCI is whole heartedly welcomed by Kerala Chamber,' This had beena long-standing requirement put forth by the trade and industry, he added.
India being the largest trading partner of UAE, the multiple entry visa would allow many businessmen from Kerala who have strong business relationship with Emirates to make frequent business visits to the country hassle free rather approaching for visa for each time during the six month period, he said adding that the same would also benefit the presence of UAE based corporates in Kerala.
KCCI had submitted various representations in this regard earlier and the same issue was raised during the recent visit of U A E Ambassodor to India Mohamed Sultan Al Owais during the interactive session organized at the Chamber with UAE Ambassador last month, he added.
