Kerala Cultural Minister K C Jospeh today said that the government has released Rs five crore towards the renovation activities of Hill Palace at Thripunithura, near here.
Talking to newsmen here, he said maintenance work of the museum had already completed and better facilities for the visitors to enjoy the museum with displaying of existing exhibiting materials in 25 different display venues.
The object of the government was to complete the renovation activities to elevate the museum on international levels in two years.
Stating that the Cultural Department had decided to renovate the museum scientifically and the Kerala historic and heritage Museum had been authorized to prepare a project report in this regard, he said the government approved the proposal and released the amount.
