Prince Harry nicknamed 'Elvis' by US Marines
Prince Harry has been named Elvis by US Marines in Afghanistan because of his infamous party antics in Las Vegas.
The elite soldiers gave the 28-year-old royal the monicker as they joked with him at Camp Bastion in the war-torn country.
They have been impressed that Harry who is serving as an Apache helicopter pilot, is not a "sit-at-home soldier".
"Harry has become a real celebrity around the camp. At first the Marines thought he would be a sit-at-home soldier, but were shocked when he just kept on notching up the missions. He has been on some hair-raising runs, but refuses to be treated any differently from the rest of the lads," the Daily Star quoted a US military source as saying.
"A lot of the boys are trying to get Harry to go on another trip to Vegas when their service is done," the source said.
