Canada Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his wife enjoyed a Canadian Children film at Imax in up-scale Forum Mall during their two-day visit to the city today.
Earlier, the Prime Minister arrived at Bangalore International Airport in an Royal Canadian Air Force Special Aircraft for the private visit.
He was received by Karnataka Minister for Labour and Sericulture B N Bachche Gowda on behalf of the State Government. Additional Secretary to Government (Protocol) B V Kulkarni, Director General and Inspector General of Police Lalrokhuma Pachua were also present.
Immediately on arrival, Mr Harper left for Rajbhavan and met Governor H R Bhardhwaj and took Lunch, hosted in his honour.
Mr Harper also visited ten-century old Sree Someshwara Temple at the teeming Ulsoor area in the city in the evening.
Tomorrow he would visit Bishop Cotton's School in the city before leaving for Manila.
