The northeast Monsoon has been vigorous over Kerala.
Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, west Madhya Pradesh and north Madhya Maharashtra.

They were below normal in some parts of east Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra, Kutch, Konkan and Goa, and in remaining parts of west Madhya Pradesh.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of Odisha, while appreciably above normal in some parts of Gangetic West Bengal, south Madhya Maharashtra, Rayalaseema, north interior Karnataka and in remaining parts of Odisha.

They were above normal in coastal Karnataka, some parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Heavy rains may occur at many places in Kerala.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

They would also occur at isolated places in Assam, Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Rayalaseema, interior Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Jharkhand, Bihar, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Telangana. Heavy rains had occurred at most places in Kerala and at a few places in Kerala. Rain or thundershowers had occurred at a few places in Odisha and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Jharkhand, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Karnataka and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Mainly dry weather prevailed over West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana and Lakshadweep.
